EU Support

The EU supported IWAL's initiative "Safety Training for Green Energy"

The project concerned an advanced training platform for training in working safely at height. The platform is now established and used daily at IWAL.

The IWAL Safety Center will develop and maintain certified safety training for the increasing number of wind turbines/energy plants locally, nationally and globally. The requirements and the need for training, including education, are increasing rapidly. Denmark is a leader in the field and through the GWO (Global Wind Organisation) sets the requirements for new advanced training modules. With the project "Safety Training for Green Energy", IWAL will be able to implement the new training modules for tomorrow's energy plants, which will thereby secure more people in work locally and regionally. "Safety Training for Green Energy" training/training is completely in line with Lolland's and Denmark's green energy together with the transition to sustainability and a better environment.

The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Denmark and Europe invest in rural areas.

IWAL has received EU support for the project "Safety Training for Green Energy" with Advanced Training Platform, for training in working safely at height. Wind turbines, grid masts, solar cells on buildings, roofs and scaffolding. The training platform has been developed by IWAL to train in particularly advanced rescue operations of injured persons in a Windmill, this is a necessity to work safely in wind turbines on/off shore.
