About the course

Have you been out for something to suddenly catch fire? Do you panic and make the situation worse or do you act rationally and do what is necessary to contain or extinguish the fire. We will have a conversation about which things are most often to blame for fires in the wind turbine and elsewhere, how you should react, what prerequisites are needed for a fire to occur, what you should not do and how best to extinguish or limit the fire , until the professionals can take over.

Objectives:

The student learns about the danger of fire spreading in a wind turbine.

The student learns about what causes fires in wind turbines and the dangers that arise as a result.

The student will be able to operate various hand extinguishing equipment.

The student learns about contingency plans in a wind turbine environment.

The student will be able to evacuate from a mill in case of fire.
